This Gyokuro is one of the finest teas from Japan. It is harvested only once a year. Starting in early May, the tea bushes are kept in 90% shade for 20 days. This process makes the tea particularly mild, with a slightly sweet taste.
It impresses with its wonderfully flat and pointed needles, which have an intense emerald green color.
